Pay it forward!

Hey there, this is Reshma Meah and Sarah Rowley!
This week in SEAL we have been looking at 'Paying it Forward'. The idea is simple you must respond to a person's kindness by being kind yourself.

Paying it forward is a really simple and sweet thing to do. In the modern world of today we barely have time to just stop and pay people a few compliments; so we thought that it is time to be kind! Students of M9 went to their fellow classmates and we gave a sweet and a compliment. As the photos show our students had a great time paying compliments and being complimented in return. The students we visited and complimented were so happy with our display of kindness, that we urged them to pay a compliment to someone else and keep the happiness flowing.  The point of the 'Pay It Forward' project is not to return the compliment but to pass it on to someone new.  If you don't feel like a compliment is the best way to pay it forward, why not think of some new ideas? If you think you get a good one, comment below. Then, try it out on someone and tell them to pay it forward too. This way more people are left feeling good and with a smile on their face.

If you have a minute, why not check out this video? It is the trailer for the film where the idea came from...

So next time you're feeling down, why not pay someone a compliment? You never know, you might get one back.

How has your form 'Paid it Forward?' let us know!
